Hello.

I’m Bee (short for Rebecca). I am a mom to three (now adult) kids and married my summer camp crush. I’m a people pleaser. Over sharer. Sarcastic by default. Aggressively affectionate. An extrovert who also needs her quiet time alone…in the bath with a whisky preferably.

I like to think of myself as being a glass half full kind of person, and despite the exhausting and ordinary and sad and mundane…I truly believe life is amazing.

Photography for me, is about storytelling. I aim to document the real, unscripted moments-laughter, meltdowns, wind blown hair, messy faces, a shared glance-that make your story uniquely yours. My approach is unobtrusive and relaxed, someone who you can laugh or commiserate with-allowing you to be present while I capture the essence of your family and your wedding day.

Whether it’s a wedding on a coastal island, an hour with your family hanging out in a favourite spot, or a branding session that tells your business’s story, I strive to create images that are authentic and timeless. I believe in the beauty of everyday moments and the power of photographs to preserve them.

Like many photographers, my story started with my own three kids. I wanted to remember it all-the ordinary days, the wild ones, the quiet in betweens. I took on a 365 project (and kept it going for four years). It taught me to look closer, see light differently, to appreciate the beauty in imperfection and to fall in love with storytelling though images.

Even back then, I was drawn to real moments-the form, the emotion, the connection. I didn’t care much for perfection. I cared about truth.
