This season is tender-and also totally chaotic.

You’re tired. The house is a mess. Big feelings. Loud opinions. Stretched in all different directions. Whether you’ve just brought home a brand-new human or you’re navigating those first few months, this stage deserves to be documented-not once everything “calms down,” but exactly as it is.

There is no "right" or "wrong" time to take photos during the first year. Some families love the sleepy, quiet magic of the first two weeks, but others wait for the first smiles or the belly laughs of a six-month-old who has just learned to sit up. Every milestone is a story worth telling.

Newborn sessions are relaxed and usually done at home with no props and no stiff posing. We move slowly, take breaks, and follow your baby’s lead. With older babies, I let them be who they are. If they need a snack break, we pause; if they refuse everything for the first 20 minutes, that’s normal too.

You don’t need a spotless house. You don’t need perfectly coordinated outfits (unless that’s your vibe) and you definitely don’t need perfectly behaved children. You just need to show up.

This stage is messy and exhausting and wildly beautiful-often all at once. And it changes faster than you think.

YOUR LIFE IS AMAZING. LET ME SHOW YOU.
